The TIDE continues our mission to create eyewear that performs flawlessly in real-world water conditions. Designed for smaller face profiles, it delivers precision optics, dependable protection, and a refined fit engineered for lasting comfort.

Fitted with ZEISS polarized lenses or LiP’s VIVIDE, Levante and ecLiPse Series lenses, the Tide offers a wide range of transmittance levels and coatings for maximum optical performance. High contact-angle hydrophobic and oleophobic coatings repel water and oils to maintain clear vision, while discreet airflow cuttings promote ventilation behind the lenses to reduce fogging. The 8-base wrap frame provides comprehensive UV protection from all angles.

The dual-injected TR90 frame combines strength with flexibility, and overmolded rubber contact zones ensure a stable, cushioned fit that remains comfortable through long sessions. Streamlined, highly flexible temples integrate seamlessly with the new FAILSAFE II leash system, eliminating pressure points when worn with helmets and delivering total confidence in demanding conditions.

Light, secure, and built to endure, the Tide brings LiP performance to smaller profiles, balancing clarity, comfort, and control for life on the water.

A patented anti-fogging system comprising cuttings in the lenses and venting channels in the upper and lower parts of the frame encourages airflow through and behind the lenses to improve ventilation and counteract fogging.

Finally, a FAILSAFE leash system guaranteed to work in all conditions will ensure that you stay connected to your sunglasses during a heavy wipeout.

LENSES

All LiP Sunglasses lenses and lenses by ZEISS are designed and tested under rigorous conditions to ensure they meet regulatory standards around the world, including ANSI (United States), EN-ISO (Europe) and AS/NZS (Australia / New Zealand). This testing includes high-velocity mass impact testing.

All lenses (regardless of the Lens Series or function) are guaranteed to filter out harmful UVA and UVB rays. Except for lenses with an anti-fog coating, all lenses have hydrophobic, oleophobic and hard coatings on both front and rear lens surfaces. For lenses that are polarized, the polarization achieved is 98–99%.
