Green Hat shipping policy and times
*Please note: Since 2020, all delivery services (UPS, FedEx, US Post, DHL) stopped guaranteeing delivery times for their Ground service. Please plan ahead and allow extra time for deliveries.
General Policy
- New, in-stock items are shipped within 1 business day.
- Used items sometimes will require extra time to ship. Please call us for additional info on a specific used item.
- 3rd Party Warehouse items are shipped directly by one of our vendors; shipping times vary, but usually under 5 business days domestically.
- Tracking numbers are emailed as soon as the order ships.
- For security reasons, some orders may require scanned copies of documents to validate the buyer's identity as well as additional verifications through your credit card company.
- Free domestic shipping via FedEx, UPS, or US Postal Service is available on packages (***some exclusions apply***) that contain over $99 of new gear. To use domestic free shipping, choose the "Free Shipping" option. If free shipping is chosen, the order will be shipped via FedEx Ground, FedEx HomeDelivery, UPS Ground, US Post Priority, USPS First Class, or Parcel Post. We will choose the method based on price and circumstance. Do not use this option if you would like your order to be shipped via any other service or if you would like to have a choice of service. Free Shipping option does not include insurance and may not include tracking (in case of USPS First Class mail). Free Shipping may take anywhere between 1 and 10 business days, depending on your location and method of shipping.
- FedEx Express Saver 3 Day, FedEx 2 Day, FedEx Overnight, UPS Select 3 Day, UPS 2 Day, UPS Overnight as well as US Post Priority and Express services are available at extra cost.
- Shipping to PO Boxes can only be done via US Post and, therefore, is not eligible for free shipping. We will waive this rule for some larger orders.
- ***Flat Rate Shipping may be applied to larger/oversized items. See below for details.***
- $30 Flat Rate Shipping - wing booms such as the Duotone Foil Wing Boom, Duotone Foil Wing Miniboom, etc. This fee may be waived when purchasing the boom with a wing.
- $50 Flat Rate Shipping - surfboards, foilboards, inflatable wing boards, and oversized board bags.
- $100 Flat Rate Shipping - wing boards under 6'0
- $150 Flat Rate Shipping - wing boards 6'0 or larger
- $250 Flat Rate Shipping - e-foils

USPS Priority Domestic shipping times:
USPS shipping times are not guaranteed and are also the most likely shipping service to be delayed or lost.
We do not recommend using this option for high value items.
