Clearance Control Bars

Kiteboarding control bars are essential equipment that enable riders to steer, power, and maneuver their kites. Modern control bars have significantly advanced in safety features, particularly with quick-release systems that allow riders to instantly depower the kite by disconnecting the chicken loop from the depower line, leaving them connected only to a safety line during emergencies.

Not to worry, all of our clearance bars offer the safety features of modern bars. You do have to be mindful of compatibility when selecting a control bar, as mismatched bars and kites can impact performance and safety. The two most important things for optimal compatibility and performance of the kite and bar are the V or Y configuration of the power lines and the pigtails!
