Feature Rich, Revolutionary, Game Changing. These are some of terms often used, even by ourselves in the past to advertise the control system. But the key fundamental thing that sets a great control system aside from the others, is the fact that no matter what the marketing hype, it should be so easy to use, that you never need to think of all the incredible features that have been built into it.
In 2025 we have further developed and tuned the COS system, to make it even more intuitive, allowing the rider to focus on the job at hand and maximize his enjoyment on the water.
The key fundamental part of a control system is the safety aspect, and the COS bar outshines in this manner with the most consistent release loads under numerous conditions, giving you the confidence to know that when you need it, you’ve got it.
The new ergonomic QR handle and extended release travel of the quick release, ties in perfectly with the dual tube auto unwind feature with it’s Ceramic Bearings keeping friction to an absolute minimum.
The COS also comes standard with 22m lines, made up by an 18m section + 4M extensions. 2m extensions are also included. This gives the user the option to quickly and easily adjust their control system to 18,20,22, or 24m length lines.
Safety is always a priority at Cabrinha, which is why the C.O.S. Overdrive Trimlite 2025 Bar comes equipped with an upgraded quick release featuring optimized release travel.
Additionally, the Dual PU tubes keep your lines clean, with independent channels for the safety line, boosting the overall reliability of the system. For convenience, this bar features an improved Auto Unwind system. The new dual tube auto unwind function allows you to focus on your next move without the hassle of manually untwisting your power lines, ensuring your kite is always ready for perfect control.
The Trimlite system offers a precise and easy trim adjustment, with the durable TrimLite Cleat™ allowing you to make quick, accurate changes. The Prime is so much more than an entry-level board. A sweet performer in all wind and water conditions, it tracks upwind smoothly and slices splash-free through the chop.
Instantly familiar, intuitive and comfortable feel, the Prime is constructed in North's Composite layup. The rounded outline enables controlled edging in a range of conditions, while the progressive single concave with shallow rocker enables fast early planing and edge hold.
It also has a structurally reinforced deck with an indent to grip for board-offs. Jump and boost in full control, with forgiving landings thanks to the softer flex. The Prime helps you progress faster in your freeride game.
