2020 F-One WTF!?

Because passion and talent do not wait, we made a WTF?! specifically for the groms. Featuring all the same high tech features as the hugely popular WTF?! it has been developed to allow you to perform the most demanding tricks with ease.

  •   The Freestyle Weapon
  •   Total control during edging and landing
  •   Impressive comfort and stability
  •   Explosive pop
  •   Carbon tapes for a better stiffness

This version of the WTF?! comes out of a different mould because the characteristics required are so different from the standard version to match the needs of the young riders that are smaller and lighter.

To make the board more manageable, the dimensions were brought down a lot, and the thickness has been reduced to keep the weight down and the flex in tune with the target rider weight. The rocker is moderate to generate speed quickly while keeping control at all times.

Inspired from our HRD rail design, the WTF uses thicker rails under the feet, offering maximum lift and balance while in the middle of the board. At the tips, the profile of the rail gets thinner for a better grip and edging capabilities.

The bottom of the board features a V-double concave with tip channels to improve the grip and the water release from the board. These channels also break the surface tension of the water, making the landings smoother and more manageable.

The deck of the board is flat to provide a more consistent connection to the board for the foot straps or bindings. This helps again with control and also makes it easy to get bindings that fit the board.

The board is built around a wood core with glass reinforcement and carbon tapes for better load transmission when loading up for the pop. It’s the same construction as the adult’s WTF?! but tuned for smaller and lighter riders.

Once you are on the water, you will notice the speed at which the board travels and how effortless it is to ride. Pop is gained easily and no matter your speed, or the state of the water, you can be assured of a good take off every time you load up the edge. Landings are smooth, and the WTF has been designed to help you to complete your tricks with higher consistency than ever before.

The board is available in two sizes: 127 x 37 and 130 x 39 cm. It is equipped with our UNIBox fins in 35 or 55mm, these offer better speed and improved glide with less drag thanks to their thinner profile.

Technology

  • LITE TECH
The LITE TECH (Integrated TPU Element) patented by ROSSIGNOL Snowboards is an F-One exclusivity in the kiting world, bringing an incredible look and design to your board.

  • DOUBLE CONCAVE STEP DESIGN
Double concave sections are designed to direct the water flow as much as possible so that, when riding, the concavity provide clearly superior grip.
During landings, the water is directed out making the touch-down smoother and more stable, avoiding unwanted bouncing and sliding effects. The side step emphasize the double concave effects and further add to the grip for better edging.

  • LIFTED TIP CHANNELS
These channels help provide superior grip towards the tip of the board and are designed to be super efficient during the pop.
To form the channels, the tip of the board is raised in it's central part, therefore creating added lift locally to the rocker of the board for better pop and easier landings.

  • WOOD CORE
The wood forms the heart of your board and gives it most of its mechanical properties: strength, flex, and resilience (ability to return to its original shape).
Each year, in order to master these properties, we seek to optimize its distribution, particularly in terms of thickness.

  • UNIBOX FINS
The patented UNIBOX system and RESPONSE fins have a radical effect: the asymmetrical profile improves the general ride and early planing.
However, it is the flex of the RESPONSE fins that gives amazing rail-grip as well as pop and forgiveness on heavy freestyle landings.
