2019 Cabrinha MotoIntroducing the 2019 Cabrinha Moto! The kite is Cabrinha's response to rider requests for a modern three strut kite. The kite is a freeride focused kite, which means it's great for beginners, wave riders and foilers, as well as Switchblade lovers looking for a fast, responsive kite. It's an exciting addition to the Cabrinha line that is light in the sky and very fun to fly.
IN CABRINHA'S WORDS...
Designed for riders who appreciate versatile, predictable kite performance, the Moto kite is a triple threat for any type of riding in a wide range of conditions. It excels in three of the most exciting disciplines the sport has to offer: Freeride, Freesurf, and Foilboarding.
The all-new Moto leads us into a new era of performance kitesurfing that smashes all conventional thinking. This versatile Freeride / Crossover kite is light to the touch and provides a precise and linear power delivery. The lighter weight and quick response is made possible with its 3-strut hybrid plan form.
The Moto performs its best in challenging wind conditions. Generous depower tames the gustiest winds and widens its wind range considerably. The Moto’s fast turning speed not only puts this kite into a performance category of its own, it enhances the kite’s amazing versatility.

Solid kite for all around uses.
Smaller kite sizes are stable and fun in higher winds. Good kite for foiling as well.
A good kite for people who love the Switchblade but want a lighter kite.
With 3 struts, the Moto is a good kite for people who love the Switchblade but want a better option for freeride and foiling. It's not the "Cadillac" that the Switchblade is, but it's a lighter kite, it turns quickly, and it's decent for jumping. The weight and turning speed make the Moto a little better than the Switchblade for foiling because, the Switchblade, with 5 struts, feels a little too heavy. I would describe the Moto as a lighter version of the Switchblade (kind of like the VW Fox was to the VW Jetta) because turns and rides well, but it doesn't have the solid feel and power that the Switchblade has. It is, however, a nice kite for freeriders, and it's very easy to handle.
