The 2024 Flex Pro are engineered to help absorb and disperse impact after gravity-defying boosts, with triple-density dynamic support technology to protect your heels and guarantee softer landings. North added structure and stability with a contoured anatomical footbed and ramped chassis for improved fit and increased lateral support. Outer angled heel inserts ensure your foot rolls properly, providing a stable landing and protecting your knees and ankles when loading up to release into the air. The GripFlex lightweight, rubberized EVA inner maintains grip underfoot when wet, while the fine grip pattern helps keep you locked in on various angles, preventing your foot from sliding out of the binding. North refined the adjustable injection-Velcro top flap to provide a strong yet flexible hold. The strap has a soft foam and KnitFlex seamless lining with split-Velcro fastenings. These provide custom comfort and allow your foot to shuffle more easily into a locked-in position. For your ultimate fit, ensure there's enough room for your toes to stretch and flex, and make sure the strap doesn't slip or rub. The upper should feel secure, but not too tight, and the footbed should match the shape of your foot. The Flex LX are compatible with both North's 2023-2024 FlipTech centreline and 2020-2022 offline TwinTip mounting systems. Industry-standard screw spacings ensure they can also be fitted to other boards.

North balanced simplicity and support with a single fastening strap, and they optimized the footbed thickness and durometer for cushioned comfort.
SHAPED HEEL CUP
The shaped heel cup cradles the heel and stabilizes the foot upon impact. North engineered it wider on the new Flex so you can lock your foot sideways in both directions.
The Knitflex fabric is pre-tensioned and laminated to the conforming foam inner, so it can create a 3D-curve without any bunching or creasing, and there’s no inner stitching to rub on your foot. The soft foam allows your foot to shuffle more easily into a locked-in position.
INJECTION VELCRO STRAP
Decreases sand and debris retention. Extended top flaps increase hold and reduce water lift.
LONGITUDINALLY CONVEXED CHASSIS SHAPE
The convex drives more pressure on to the tip and heel of the chassis when the binding is attached to the board, locking out sand and debris from under the binding.
The split inner-velcro design ensures a custom fit on top of the feet for all shapes, sizes and rider styles. Position the velcro straps wider apart for a more fixed feel, closer together for easy board-offs. North's fully re-engineered top flap gives a strong hold without compromising strap flexibility.
FLIPTECH MOUNTING
For 2023 and 2024, all of the North TwinTip boards have North's new FlipTech Mounting System, with centerline inserts. This means if you wear out one side of your board, simply flip the bindings around and you've got a fresh new heel side rail again.
Flex bindings are compatible with both FlipTech boards and offline board mounting systems. The '2” indicator on the Flex is for the boards that have flip tech, and is North's recommended setup positioning for a 15/-15 degree duck stance.
